Ein neues Album mit den Bad Seeds noch in diesem Jahr.
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds to release new album in 2011 Written by Administrator Monday, 22 November 2010Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have revealed that they will release a new album in 2011.
However, frontman Nick Cave admitted that he hasn't started writing the follow-up to 2008's 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!' yet. "There will be a new Bad Seeds record next year," he told SpinnerMusic.co.uk. "I've got to write one, I haven't written anything yet, but that's not how I go about things anyway." "I have the starting date for the next record and that's when I go into the office and start it," he continued. "I'm not doing that until I've finished the Grinderman tour, which is amazing. The band is something else."
Cave is currently on a North American tour with Grinderman in support of their second album 'Grinderman 2'.

Die neue Platte ist aber auch wirklich großartig!
Nach mittlerweile zwei Durchläufen muß ich sagen: ich hatte nichts erwartet und bin mehr als nur angenehm überrascht. Atmosphärisch dichtes und packendes Album ohne einen einzigen Ausfall drauf. Das konnte ich bei ihm auch schon lange nicht mehr schreiben.

Ich höre es gerade rauf und runter. Mir fehlt zwar dieser alles überragende Song, aber insgesamt ist das ein ganz starkes Album
Ich fand den Opener schon ziemlich überzeugend, und obwohl ich mich eigentlich schlafen legen wollte, habe ich das Album komplett durchgehört.

Wer mal sehen will, wie sich Nick Cave als Drehbuchautor macht: Am 22.3. kommt „Lawless – Die Gesetzlosen“ auf DVD. Ein Gangsterepos, herausragend besetzt mit Shia LaBoeuf, Tom Hardy, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska und Gary Oldman. In den USA leider nur semi-erfolgreich, von daher bei uns als DVD-Premiere.
